In the turbulent weeks following the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines, a brave and discreet effort began to take shape within the Mindanao State University (MSU) campus in Marawi City. General Order No. 5 had deemed gatherings of five or more people illegal, casting a long shadow over any form of assembly. Yet, Brod Sol Malambut of Beta Alpha envisioned the establishment of a new chapter of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) within the university—a beacon of leadership, friendship, and service in such a dark time.
